Today I want to provide some motivation for those that want to learn something new, but need a little boost to get off the fence, and get started!
Sometimes we think we are all alone with our problems and issues and decisions we have to make in our lives, and it can be encouraging to be reminded that many things we struggle with, are the same things many others struggle with as well. To hear how someone else has dealt with a problem, or has made a positive change in their life, can inspire you to do the same. You can say to yourself, if they did it, I can too!
I hope I can be an example of this very thing. If you only new me, you would certainly say to yourself, if Dave (at 52) can start to learn about computers and start an online business, I can certainly do whatever it is I need to do!
It is so important to really enjoy whatever it is you want to start learning and doing. Otherwise, it becomes a chore and an effort, and our motivation to continue dwindles quickly. That is how it often works with a regular job, you often don't really enjoy it, but the motivation for continuing is the paycheck to keep the bill paid. But when you are starting something, maybe in your spare time, if you do not really enjoy what it is you are doing, you will give up quickly. The extra energy and time involved in doing something else above and beyond what you are already doing, especially when it usually does not bring in any substantial income for some time, requires you to really love what you are doing, so that you will stick with it.
I know that sometimes we don't know if we are going to enjoy doing something until we start learning and doing it. My advise to this would be to start anyway! You will never know until you give it a try, and if it turns out you don't like it, you can chalk that one off your list and move on to something else!

Career change motivation quotes are here to fire up your courage in pursuing your dream career!
I quit my job last November to start a career doing what I love. There’s no income, but lots of fear and doubts. But I continued.
At least I try, and no regrets.

"The Lord makes firm the steps
of the one who delights in him;
though he may stumble, he will not fall,
for the Lord upholds him with his hand."
